Muselet Definition: “The wire cage that keeps a champagne cork from popping off the bottle.” Origin: From the French “Museler” to “muzzle”.

 

I am a former journalist and have written, edited and presented news and features for a range of print, digital and broadcast media including The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Sun, The Sunday Times, Voice of America, BBC Radio, GMTV, BBC Radio Five Live, CNN, Sky and Channel 4. 

 

I stumbled on the word ‘muselet’ which I loved and which inspired me to share some of my mini life adventures in a blog.
